Criminal Traffic Tickets
Limited Time to Appear
If you are charged with a criminal traffic offense, you must appear
on the date provided by the officer, bonding agency, or, if no date
provided, WITHIN TEN (10) straight CALENDAR days from the date of
your citation.
You must report to the court location as noted
on the front of your citation. Check in time for an arraignment
is 7:30 a.m. and you must check in at the clerk’s office
before proceeding to the courtroom. Failure to report on time means
you
will not be allowed to attend court that day. This failure to appear
could result in a delinquency fee being assessed; your driving
privilege
being suspended and a possible capias could be issued for your
arrest. The branch offices only hold arraignments once a week.
The schedule
is as follows:
- Orlando Office: Tues - Thur at 7:30 a.m.
- Apopka Branch: Thursday at 7:30 a.m.
- Ocoee Branch: Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.
- Winter Park Branch: Friday at 7:30 a.m.
